He was hardly there at all…
Well, okay, it’s not a little problem. It’s a real big one.
How do you introduce yourself to voters in a district where you are completely unknown; where you have no record in the community of any kind; and when the place place you came from is littered with disasters of the kind that kill political careers?
I addressed this issue with some friends of mine the other day, none of whom are particularly involved in local politics, but who always vote. They are registered Democrats who had never heard of Sukhee Kang.
They were frankly offended by the idea that someone with no ties to the local community would try to foist himself on them, and when the subject of Irvine came up, the discussion immediately turned to the Great Park fiasco and the loss of millions handed out to political cronies – they knew a lot about that.
So what is Sukhee going to do to portray himself in any sort of positive light? He actually has a Democrat opponent – a guy from Fullerton named Josh Newman – and we can be sure Sukhee is going to have unhappy people educating the public about who and what he is.

I don’t see how he can succeed. All the money in the world wont pretty up this mess. A weak showing in the primary may doom him even if he does manage to come in second – and even that seems iffy.

Beating Sukhee Kang is not hard. The voters in the district must be informed and aware of the carpetbagger in order oust Kang in the primary plus the attack ads by his opponents relating the Great Park disaster. Also, please make the No Kang Irvine Carpetbagger yard signs so people can put them up on the streets and their homes.

I don’t see how he stands a chance either. All the money or endorsements in the world are not going to help this guy out. He’s a sad sack, who is described as a failure by thinking people on both sides of the aisle. Sad state of affairs, Suhkee and the Democratic Party is when they endeavor to dress up and parade candidates like Suhkee. Suhkee’s record of incompetent leadership in Irvine speaks volumes of what we could expect from him as a leader in our area. him.
A democratic friend, who is just as sick of Suhkee, forwarded to me a canned and generic emailed plea for party members to support Suhkee, from the head Democratic honcho in LA (Erik Bauman). The message reeks of desperation and does nothing but highlight both gentlemen’s lack of integrity. His message puts front and center their total and complete out-of-touch politicking as well as their lack of interest for an honest and most importantly capable leader for our area.
Let’s try one thing that Mr. Bauman seems to have never tried before, TRUTH, and continue to spread the word of Suhkee’s documented inability to lead.

Kang has done enough damage to the Great Park funding even to hurt his campaign this year. Sukhee Kang is stupid plus money and endorsements don’t get politicians elected easily when he or she is constantly lying to the voters that everything is fine. Historic record of the candidate matters such as being responsible for the funds of the Great Park being wasted and it is the voters’ choice of choosing the best candidate. I hope voters in the district I live in are not fooled by a parachute candidate’s lies that he has a clean record. I really don’t see a chance Democrats can flip the district to blue with this candidate. If the party wants to flip this district blue, the party would have to recruit a better candidate than this corrupt politician that landed in Fullerton. Kang is a energetic and successful campaigner and as a great fundraiser? What a joke! He has campaigned for the Congressional district 48 and still lost to John Campbell back in 2012 due to Republican voter registration advantage and his record in Irvine of course. My new year’s resolutions is hoping that voters are informed not to be voting in a candidate that has little or no connections to my district. Sukhee Kang is considered a underdog in the district and so far, many people still don’t know who he is yet since name recognition is not so broad.

That may be a likely opportunity for the carpetbagger in the 2018 midterm elections if he moves back to Irvine to seek another two year term in city council. Let’s hope that Larry Agran does not get back to city council in 2016 or 2018. Same with Sukhee Kang.

What’s a Sukhee to do?
Go back to South Korea. Don’t need a politician who comes from a foreign country that tries to make mockery of our laws and changing our constitutional rights which should not be altered. Now we have radical progressives that are trying to stripe our amendment rights such as the first amendment and second amendment for example. This is not right for our country but this is true. I want to address the immigrants success from his campaign website. Sukhee Kang didn’t serve in our army which I already saw this post somewhere in his website and here. I can’t believe that Anti-American Sukhee Kang had the nerve to even mention about being a veteran in Korea while he didn’t serve in our army! Veterans who served in this country are the true heroes that fought for our freedoms and our rights. Sukhee Kang didn’t. He is just a self serving politician that made his success story by working in Circuit City and Stride Rite for example to the now Great Park fiasco by wasting the city’s funds to build the park along with fellow council member colleagues which are Larry Agran and Beth Krom. He is a big support of grabbing guns from citizens so we cannot have the rights to own a gun. California already have one of the most restrictive gun control laws in the country. By the way, my parents and my other family members came here from Vietnam to escape communism and have always respected our country’s laws, constitutional rights, and the love of living in this country while Sukhee Kang didn’t and wanted to alter our constitutional rights which other countries don’t have. Say no to communism and political corruption!

I couldn’t agree more K Hoang and you are right. Kang didn’t serve in army so why bother mentioning his military experience on his campaign website. I’m really sure that Kang is going to gain criticism about his military experience later this year when the campaign heats up. Also if Kang don’t like the way how our laws and rights work in the US, he can leave since we have plenty of people here that hates America and wanted to destroy by changing our laws and customs. As you and I pointed out about Kang, he is a big supporter of grabbing guns from law abiding citizens. No to politicians who wants to take away our rights by altering the constitution!

Sukhee Kang is a parachute candidate that flew up in the orange Great Park balloon from Irvine and landed in Fullerton with a bunch of strangers he wants to represent. Hey, we all know that the term “parachute candidate” is another term to refer a carpetbagger that moves to a new area for a political gain which Sukhee Kang is doing.

My new year’s resolutions is Sukhee Kang losing his bid for state senate, make sure that voters are informed not to vote for a carpetbagger, and send Kang back to Irvine. To make yard signs, print out the image called, No Kang Irvine Carpetbagger (Link Provided: http://www.canta-officiel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/no-kang-irvine-carpetbagger.png) and take your printed copy to a local print shop to have your signs made. Do your part by informing your friends and family about a carpetbagger and making sure they don’t vote for Kang regardless of political affiliation.

In his Great Pork scandal deposition Sukhee claims he wasn’t all that proficient in English, him being an immigrant, and all.

Such a shame. He keeps getting worse and worse the more I read into his deposition. This is yet another reason why Suhkee Kang is not the right candidate to help address the issues facing Fullerton or North Orange County. Not saying that a Asian person would not be a good fit here. It’s not about ethnicity or race. It’s not about political party, either. It’s about integrity. It’s about the his clear lack of leadership skills under tough situations. We can’t afford that here. Suhkee hitting back that he has limited English skills is just plain sad. Is this really what they are trying to hoist upon us? Unbelievable.
This is 100% about the fact that I don’t want to see a shameless and thoughtless opportunist, like Suhkee, with a known record of failure rise to power in our community.

If Kang had limited English skills that he stated in his audit report, then why did he get elected to Irvine city council and mayor in the first place. First of all elect in a candidate that best represents the community plus demonstrating English proficiency. Look at his website carefully for example on http://sukheekang.net/ which is about his run for city council back in 2014 which he withdraw, you will see that he misspelled Council with the word Counsil. Again for both parties, stop forcing the Asian strategy on us! We have a choice on selecting with candidates best represents our community.
