Nothing is quite so annoying as the Perpetual Candidate. This is the pathetic creature who wants to become a career politician, but just can’t seem to get the traction.
The Perpetual Candidate runs for office whenever, and especially where ever he or she can. And thus the spectacle of those clueless clowns whose only real faculty seems to be exercising an eye to the main chance.
Smug, isn’t he?
Sad Sukhee Kang, formerly mayor of Irvine is one of these characters. In 2004 he ran as a stooge on the Larry Agran ticket, and thanks to Agran’s slimy direct mail scams (mail produced by “Kenny The Printer” whom, Sukhee swore – under oath – he learned about through the yellow pages), he was elected to the City Council.
In 2008 it was his turn to run for Mayor of that sea of beige stucco. Lo and Behold! The Machine put him into that office where he was re-elected in 2010, and where he continued to preside, if in name only, over the slow demise of all those Great Park promises, happily signing all the blank checks they kept putting in front of him.
In 2012 Sukhee’s vaulting ambition got the better of him, and Agran, too. He bolted Agran’s Triumvirate of Error and ran for Congress. He was thoroughly thrashed by his opponent and the end of 2012 saw sorrowful Sukhee out of office.
But Sukhee was bitten by the political bug, and that virus is virulent indeed when it strikes the right host. The politician gets used to the sycophancy, the hollow praise and the bootlicking; like a black-tar heroin junky he always wants more.
He’s gotta have it.
2014 must have been a year of making phone calls to the Sacramento Democrat string-pullers, because in 2015 he moved to Fullerton and declared his intention to try to represent north Orange County and part of eastern Los Angeles County in the California State Senate – a long, long way from Irvine.
If you’re counting that’s five elections in a little over ten years.
And that doesn’t count what appears to have been some sort of abortive run for Irvine City Council in 2014, proof of which is depicted, here.
Most people would be a bit ashamed to pull the sort of blatant carpetbaggery Sukhee is trying, but to the poor person infected with the professional politician bug, shame does not enter into the equation, for that is the first of his moral senses to go. He really can’t help himself, and so it is our job to give Sukhee a helping hand.
From here it all looks the same…
In this case we will be more than happy to send sad, shameless Sukhee back where he came from.

And also Sukhee Kang is a racist. A racist who actually make a remark towards the former governor of California who is a immigrant from Austria that speaks English with a thick accent which was was back in September 3, 2003.

Honest Abe blogging from the grave here. Now that Sharon Quirk Silva has endorsed this hapless idiot, I can’t wait to see who else she endorses. A breathless Fullerton waits for the announcement. I will remain mostly silent today, just like Suhkee did while the good people of Irvine were robbed blind.

Abe, an endorsement from Quirky-Quirk means next to nothing since she was told who to endorse by the Dem Machine in Sacramento. These were the same idiots that told her to support the transgender bathroom nonsense that cost her re-election. She has and always will toe the line for the party hierarchy. Ans that’s one reason she won’y get that old seat back.

Of course he can afford to offend north Orange County. Sharon Quicksilver can’t. Her endorsement of the Irvine carpetbagger is going to cost her votes in the Primary she can’t afford to lose.

For example from his fellow endorsers, Kang is a best choice for state senate. If anyone uses Facebook, leave a comment on his page telling him that he has managed to reach a new low by being a carpetbagger and calling for stricter gun control laws. If Kang loses the senate race next year which is likely, what office is Kang going to run for? Congress again (Will be against Ed Royce (R) This district has a six percent Republican Advantage which a Democratic victory is unlikely), Assembly (He will be against Young Kim (R). This district has a 1 percent Democratic advantage), Board of Supervisors, Fullerton city council, or move back to Irvine to run for city council again? Reply with the comments below.

I forgot to leave a comment mentioning about his canceled run for city council back in 2014. Do you guys know why Kang canceled his campaign last year? I am assuming that has to do with the great park disaster. Fill us in on that topic.

I heard that Suhkee was considering running for Irvine City Council in 2014. He talked it over with the local party bosses who convinced him that the 29th was a winnable seat for him. The party wanted to clear the arena for a new candidates in Irvine. Goes to show that their strategy of picking inexperienced and unqualified candidates or simply bodies to simply fill a seat, is not working.
The Kevin De Leon crowd put out the word that he will be very upset and will withhold funding, endorsements, and any type of candidate support to candidates that defy his plan to get Suhkee elected. This crowd has convinced not only Democratic candidates but Republican candidates as well and civic organizations in our area, that if they want continued support in the Senate, they better make sure that Suhkee gets elected. Very mafia-like and certainly undemocratic. It’s insulting, to say the least.
Did anyone see what happened to Quirk-Silva last week?
She backed that tool, Jordan Brandman, for many months. She gave him her endorsement and was seen around town shaking hands and kissing babies with him. Mr. Brandman was a complete disappointment to the Democratic Party. He has been for years. Most people in the Democratic party know that he is not an appropriate choice to represent the people of Anaheim. The people of Anaheim, that are struggling to gain some level of fair and reasonable representation, have implored the Democratic Party for quite some time to withdraw support of Brandman. None of this mattered to Quirk-Silva. She turned a deaf ear to the people in her district who needed her most by supporting and endorsing Brandman anyway. That is the kind of leader that she is. She does what the party bosses tell her to.
Last week, Quirk-Silva withdraw her support of Brandman, only hours before he announced that he would withdraw his bid for Congress. It was a move, on Quirk-Silva’s part, that can be considered too little and too late. If Quirk-Silva cared about anything other than actually getting herself elected she would not have extended any support to Brandman in the first place.
She’s heard the De Leon decree that states that Suhkee gets her support or she’s out. This is not the type of leader we need representing Fullerton or the 65th district. This should be considered unacceptable politics whatever your voter registration may be.
