Don’t eat the fish…

Gentle readers, well may you ask: what does a guy named Roland Chi have to do with carpetbagger Sukhee Kang, the Irvine escapee who want to represent us in California’s 29th State Senate District?

Well, I’ll tell you. Roland Chi was a Fullerton City Council candidate in 2010, and apart from being a rather reprehensible fellow, he was, like Sukhee Kang, a shameless carpetbagger.

Roland Chi moved to Fullerton, from Garden Grove and began hustling, promoting himself like a rabid Kardashian. It was all unseemly, enough – though some of his antics and those of his family were actually illegal – and in the end, the history of food poisonings at the family store in Garden Grove and the subsequent plea deal with the DA  torpedoed Roland’s ill-fated carpetbaggery.

Carpetbaggage: those smoldering ruins you leave behind you as you seek green political pastures elsewhere. You hope nobody finds out about your past. But they always do.

When I first heard there was a new blog called “Sukhee Kang Watch”, I knew there would never be a lack of topics to explore and expose. I was even happier when I found out that it was started by the same great folks of  Friend’s For Fullerton’s Future. So away we go.

First, on behalf of myself and lots of longtime Irvine residents, I want to apologize to all the good people of North OC for having to deal with another carpetbagging opportunistic wannabe politician from Irvine. Last time it was the Ackerwoman. This time it’s Sukhee Kang. I don’t know what’s causing all this carpetbagging(I have my suspicions about this current one), but I knew I had to help play a part in exposing Sukhee’s record while he was riding shotgun in Larry Agran’s quarter billion dollar swindle of taxpayer money at the Great Park. The sheer scope of stealing that much money kinda takes one’s breath away, yet somehow Sukhee thinks he can parlay that into a State Senate seat.  I thought when we finally defeated Agran’s majority in 2012 that this would be the last time we had to deal with politicians like this, but apparently Sukhee’s political ambitions have no limits.  His delusional factor is off the charts here.  So I’ll be happy to play a small part here in educating the voters of what happened in Irvine during the time Sukhee and Agran were in the majority. Thanks again to the admins for allowing me to write a little here.

They say that nature abhors a vacuum. I’m not sure I know exactly what that means, but that’s what they say.

And when I hear that line I immediately think of the way our little corner of heaven – the north part of OC – has been the object of desire for political infiltrators from other parts of the County – Hell , other parts of the world – looking to feather their nests by means of elective office. There seems to be a vacuum here that looks so darn inviting to the politically ambitious they just can’t resist letting themselves get sucked into it – moving, or pretending to move here to run for office.

So let’s check it out.

Back in 1992, a  woman named Julie Sa popped up out of nowhere to run for the Fullerton City Council. She ran a slick and very expensive campaign and nobody checked on her residency status, her past bankruptcy, or anything else – mostly because nobody expected her to win, which she did.

I love you all!

Julie spent 8 years on the council displaying her unintelligible English and her total ignorance of, well, of everything. Folks soon figured out that she was using her position on the City Council to promote herself over in Korea, where apparently honorific titles really open doors. Oh yeah, we finally learned that she didn’t live in Fullerton at all, but in some expansive compound in up in the Chino Hills that had its own helipad.

By 2000 the jig was up and Sa finally seems to have realized the whole thing was just too darn much trouble. She quickly vanished from the scene and has not been heard from since.

Jump ahead, now to the year 2009. State Senator Dick Ackerman had been termed out and was directing his attention to illegal lobbying. But when a State Assembly opportunity arose up north, he and his wife Linda immediately pretended to move from their guard-gated mini-mansion in Irvine to some dude’s rumpus room in Fullerton’s Raymond Hills. Mrs. Ackerman was completely unqualified to run for anything, but hey, north OC, this flowering bud’s for you:

Meet your new neighbor, folks. Oh, yeah, she’s also running for office!

Well, she got her clock cleaned and quickly was seen again shopping at the Costco in Irvine.

The next year showed that carpetbaggery was sickeningly on the rise. The departure of Chris Norby for Sacramento left a vacancy in the County’s 4th Supervisor District. Into the breach leaped Harry Sidhu who lived in an “elegant estate” – his words – in the affluent Anaheim Hills.

No assclownery was too small…

This bozo pretended to live in a run-down apartment out on Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim; when that fraud failed, he cooked up a second fake “home” that looked more plausible, but was just as empty.

Into the same election jumped another Anaheim Hills political climber: the endlessly amusing princess, Lorrie Galloway.

The tea party with her dollies was soon to follow…

Galloway faked not two, but three addresses in Anaheim, all staged with beat up furniture borrowed from the thrift store she owns. She lost, too, and was no doubt relieved to get that ratty sofa back into stock for her customers.

If I win, I’ll really move!

In 2014 we were treated to candidacy of Young Kim, a would-be Assembly creature who was also said to have conjured up an apartment address to run. Well, she beat an actual resident by spending an obscene amount of money to do it.

And now another Irvine denizen sees us as his main political chance. Sukhee Kang, co-author of amazing disasters in Irvine, wants to represent us in the State Senate. See, Sukhee and his pals Larry Agran and Beth Krom wasted a quarter of a billion dollars on Irvine’s Great Park debacle and were responsible for assorted other idiocies including the $16 per ride iShuttle. With his record you would think we would see Sukhee silently slink off into a well-deserved obscurity.

But no, Sukhee will not fade away! As long as it is possible, these political parasites live on, trying to latch onto any host in the body politic dumb enough to let them attach themselves.

Our record fighting this virus is mixed. But we’re not giving up without a fight. Our goal is get Sukhee back to Irvine where he belongs.

Hey! Our humble blog is starting to rattle cages!

The look of dumb confusion was understandable. Larry hadn’t called in the play yet…

A blog called “LiberalOC” (okay, stop laughing!) has taken offense at our efforts to expose carpetbagging candidate Sukhee Kang.

This blog is the sole effort of some frothing Irvine goober named Dan Chemlewski who apparently spends all his time blogging long strings of personal insults with people I’ve never heard of before.

Before that he seems to have spent all his time as a lackey and apologist for Larry Agran’s corrupt Irvine regime – of which Sukhee Kang was a crucial – if comically – silent partner.

Chemleski defends Sukhee’s carpetbaggery on the grounds that…well, on no grounds at all. But Sukhee and Mrs. Sukhee are just lonely “empty nesters,” see, who sold their giant Irvine house and moved to Fullerton because you can just buy so doggone much real estate in Fullerton with all those Irvine bucks.

The Irvine nest was empty, but the guano remained…

He omits to tell his followers that the Sukhees, junior grade,  are well into in their 30s and have no doubt moved out quite some time ago. He also fails to report that Sukhee made his decision to move to Fullerton AFTER lining up his run for State Senate up with the State Democrat shotcallers and bag men. This is not only carpetbaggery, it is the very quintessence of carpetbaggery.

No park, just a (carpet) bag of hot air…

Sukhee’s record of blowing through $250,000,000 with zero to show for it at the Great Park is casually brushed aside: “nothing to see here, north Orange County folks” – as if the greatest theft in OC history, perpetrated during Sukhee’s tenure of error, were just so irrelevant to the questions of Sukhee’s honesty and competence.

We are also told that attacks on Sukhee are based on his “friends” which is uber-comical since Sukhee himself refuses to recognize his former co-conspirators Larry Agran and Beth Krom on his list of endorsers. Could anybody possibly wonder why?

Well, here’s a news flash, Danny Boy: by the time we’re done with Sukhee, hundreds of thousands of people are going to see what we see: ambition without ability, a disastrous record and a clueless clown imported into OUR State Senate district by party bosses for whom endorsement and vote swapping are a casual way of life.

Our little blog was scarcely a few days old when we lamented the absence of a Democrat opponent for the carpetbagging Sukhee Kang, recent resident of Irvine who decided he was willing and able to represent us in State Senate District 29. Sukhee is willing, no doubt about that. Able? Not so much.

Anyway, several folks have pointed us in the direction of a guy named Josh Newman who has decided to challenge the miscreant Sukhee for the Democrat vote in next year’s election.

I don’t know much about Mr. Newman at this point, except that he has actually lived in the district for quite some time, and that fact alone warrants consideration. The introductory video on his website looks and sounds promising.

Politicians love to endorse one another. The idea that you are  so darn important that others like you, will support you, seems irresistible.

Mr. Sukhee Kang, who moved to Fullerton from Irvine to be our political overlord, is one of them. I visited Sukhee’s campaign website today to see what sort of endorsers I might find supporting this guy.

There is a long list of people up and down the State I’ve never even heard of, and who have probably never heard of Sukhee, except maybe for some plaintive voice over a phone line. But I was interested in a few of the locals who have, ahem, distinguished themselves in local politics – in one way or another.

Two of the more fun characters on the list are Anaheim’s Jordan Brandman and Lorri Galloway. You really have to wonder whether or not having their endorsement is really such a hot idea, politically.

Let’s have a look.

Um, well, okay…

Jordan Brandman is a first-term councilman in Anaheim, the petulant, wholly-owned subsidiary of Curt Pringle’s money machine. Apart from being a really peculiar and annoying third tier local politician, he is also a swindler. He grabbed $25,000 from the taxpayers by  pretending to do a “study” for County Clerk Tom Daly; it was a scam; a phony, largely plagiarized report that only existed as a pretext to funnel $25K into Brandman’s pocket. When busted, he had to go through the motions of pretending to actually finish what he started, even though he had already been paid. Nice. Check it our here, here and here.

The closer you got, the worse it looked…

Lorri Galloway used to be on the Anaheim City Council. Folks in north Orange County may recall  bubble head Galloway’s comical efforts to establish a residency in the 4th Supervisorial District back in 2010. It took her three times to get it right, and even then nobody believed the Anaheim Hills princess lived among her would-be subjects. Of course this was at the end of a long chain of duplicity that starts off with  purloining a house from her auntie in Monterey County and waiting for the woman to die so as to dodge the inconvenient court order to pay her back.

We’ll be sharing the profiles of other locals who think it’s peachy for an Irvine carpetbagger to represent us in Sacramento.

I don’t know about you, but I am insulted by the fact that some Sad Sack named Sukhee carpetbagged from Irvine into our community to run for state-wide office.

Eyes on your prize…

Sukhee Kang is the former Irvine politician who, along with Larry Agran and Beth Krom,  somehow blew through $250,000,000 on their comical “Great Park” mess with virtually nothing to show for it. Sukhee set sail from Irvine when the heat was on and the auditors began shaking out the disaster.

Surreptitiously, Sukhee slithered up to Fullerton, which was obviously no coincidence;  he had his eye set on his next political misadventure – running for the Democrats for Bob Huff’s open State Senate seat. So Sukhee soon opened a campaign account, lent himself some cash and began pretending he knew anything about the world north of Interstate 5.

Now, north Orange County has always been Republican territory, but there’s no shortage of Democrats around here – even some who have been elected to stuff. But for some reason these individuals have decided, so far, to defer to some loser who couldn’t have found La Habra on a map two years ago.

Well, okay. A little money in the bank and some endorsements from people we’ve never heard of before is probably all it takes to intimidate the local Democratic politician-types. But that still leaves hundreds of thousands of Democrats in the 29th SD, any one of whom would be better than the disgustingly ambitious Irvine Intruder.

So how ’bout it Dems? Does it really matter that there isn’t a single Democrat yet willing to take on a guy with a horrid record who has barely lived in this district  for a year?
