I’m a centrist Democrat and I have been following this website for quite some time now and I am beyond disgusted in my party for recruiting a Irvine mayor to run in the 29th state senate district which includes my city and like the commenters mention here, I heard that Josh Newman is being left out by his own party while supporting Kang. We democrats will vote against Sukhee Kang this year and I will cross party lines to vote for Ling Ling Chang over Sukhee Kang and for Josh Newman, I don’t really know about him and his positions on certain issues for my opinion. We know this is a presidential year with higher turnout and I urge voters here not to stay home and participate in voting in local elections because we need to stop Sukhee Kang instead of being frustrated over presidential candidates who are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump which I both dislike. I don’t really see that Sukhee Kang has a chance in this district since Democrats are 33 percent and Republicans at 36 percent including Independents at 25 percent. We will not stand any candidate who moves from one place to another to run for office especially with their record of wrong doing from another district. In this competitive district, we will need to get the word out against Sukhee Kang which includes passing out fliers and posting yard signs not to be voting against a candidate who barely lives in my district and thinks he knows everything here in my district! All I keep hearing about Sukhee Kang from local news websites is about his stupid endorsements and bragging about how he is really competitive in my district and I am getting really pissed about that! For those individuals who support Kang doesn’t know about his dismal record from the city he moved from until they hear the truth from Kang’s opponents that he wasted $200 million back when he was in city council and they should regret supporting Kang or otherwise be dumb and continue supporting this loser for state senate. Anyways, fuck Sukhee Kang!

Voters here in the 29th should not protest and not vote because the availability of the presidential candidates who are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump which I am also not a big fan of on both sides and I am planning to vote Independent this year as a protest vote. Even voters who don’t like the presidential candidates on both parties, it is still important that voters should be voting in local elections since we do not want any apathy which can lead to Kang winning the election. If Kang wins, we will launch an effort to recall Sukhee Kang for his disastrous record which he should be held accountable.
